Description
The Sierra Service Project is now accepting applications for its summer positions.  We will be hiring cooks, supply coordinators, construction coordinators, spiritual life coordinators and home repair coordinators.  To read a full description of each of these job, please visit the Summer Program Staff page on our website.

Qualifications
  • High school graduate plus at least one year of work experience or college
  • Proven leadership experience
  • Drivers license with at least one years' driving experience
  • Able to work without interruption from June 13 to August 18, 2012

Application Process
As a returning candidate, you will need to complete this online application.  Part of the process is for you to write a three short essays of 200 words or less. We suggest writting and editing your essays in a word processor and copying and pasting your responses into the fields. Please take the essay questions very seriously and do not exceed the word limits.

Essay Questions
1.  How did your experience last summer at SSP impact you -- spiritually, emotionally, or in any other way? 
2.  How have you grown since you last worked at SSP?
3.  Will you be able to contribute to SSP this summer in ways that you were unable to last summer?  If so, please explain.

After completing this application, someone in the SSP office will contact you.  Your formal interview by a team of Site Directors will be on March 30th or 31st.
